ELL STRATEGY OF THE MONTH
Week of September 11th The strategy this week is called The 3-Step Interview. This is a strategy where students ask and answer questions in 3 steps. The first step is to have think time to construct a response to a teacher generated question. The second step is to have one partner repeat the question and the other partner answers it. Then they switch. The third step is to take 2 partner groups and join together to make a group of 4. Each partner will present the other partner’s response to the new teammates. **You can then choose a representative to share the group’s thoughts.
